The project consortium gathered in Valencia on 11 November for the M30 Progress Meeting, hosted by CSIC-ITQ. The day opened with a welcome session and a brief update on the overall project status, but the main highlight came early in the programme: the visit to the PTI site in Paterna where the pilot plant of the project is located.
Partners were guided through the facilities by CSIC-ITQ, who presented the site layout and infrastructure supporting the demonstration activities. GECRIO introduced the Balance of Plant (BoP) pilot, offering participants a close look at both the exterior and interior of the system. This hands-on visit allowed the consortium to assess the current state of installation, discuss integration aspects, and align on the steps leading to plant acceptance and commissioning.

Back in Valencia, partners engaged in a full series of technical sessions covering all project work packages. CSIC presented recent advances on single-cell testing and long-term performance results, while SINTEF shared new findings on alloy behaviour under harsh conditions. CTMS updated the consortium on the progress of the SEU module design and production schedule.
Work on modelling and control systems advanced as well, with CSIC and UPC presenting updated simulations for the 8-barrel configuration, surrogate model validation, and control strategies suited for dynamic operation. The University of Ljubljana (UL) also presented progress on the hydrogen and ammonia value-chain analysis, highlighting new insights from sensitivity assessments and the ongoing work on critical raw materials. Then, ICONS explained the upcoming communication and dissemination activities—including the preparation of the project’s video documentary and innovation handbook.
The meeting concluded with a consolidated list of follow-up actions across all work packages, ensuring coordinated progress toward the next milestones and the upcoming end of the project in 2026.
